At Sporting Equals, we draw on research published by other organisations to inform our strategies, as well as commissioning some research and publications ourselves and in partnership with other organisations.
The specific projects featured come from a mixture of voluntary and statutory sector areas undertaken by governing bodies, local authorities and local community groups. In many of the cases, it has been the specific community group that has identified the need and sought support from other agencies. In each case, the projects illustrate partnership working, with sporting and non – sporting organisations.
We hope that practitioners and policy makers alike will use the following information as a guide when looking to develop new opportunities for the diverse communities in their areas, and will contact each of the featured projects for advice.
