Gymnastics Participation Manager – Maternity Cover
37 hours per week

Salary circa £30,000 per annum (dependent upon experience)
+ pension + 34 days annual leave (includes Bank Holidays and Company Days)

This really is a remarkable time to be involved in gymnastics, and we are very proud of the part we have played in driving the development, delivery, promotion and success of the sport.
We are currently looking for a maternity cover to drive the development of quality recreational gymnastics opportunities in line with the Participation Department Strategy. The cover will be for approximately 9 months and you will be working with colleagues, other departments and stakeholders to lead and support participation opportunities. You will also manage the Recreational
Gymnastics Team and will be responsible for the allocation of resources including budgeting accountability.
The main responsibilities of the role are:
Managing delivery of the Recreational Team Plan through providing quality products, resources
and tools to colleagues and other departments to successfully implement the interventions.
Managing of the Recreational Gymnastics Team charged with overseeing the delivery of the
Continually improving understanding of recreational gymnastics through Club, Leisure Centre
and School visits, attending meetings with key stakeholders and providers to keep up to date
with trends and the changing landscape in different environments.
Maintain strong relationships with other British Gymnastics Departments, sharing insight and
knowledge about recreational gymnastics, contributing to projects and representing the
department on working groups. For example, Talent, Learning and Development, Events,
Volunteering, Coach Education.
Be responsible for leading on Product development for recreational gymnastics products
following product management processes
Be responsible for the development of existing quality recreational gymnastics programmes
through the delivery and management of product lifecycles linked to all recreational gymnastics
Ensure all interventions are inclusive and promote equality
Using the departmental strategy to best position resource to achieve Recreational Gymnastics
Planning, forecasting and managing the budget required to deliver the interventions within the
Providing reports to evidence progress, success and impact of the Recreational Gymnastics Team.
