The Youth Sport Trust (YST) is a children's charity passionate about building a brighter future for young people by harnessing the power of sport to enhance wellbeing, build leadership and raise achievement. We are committed to growing our existing research and insight capacity and capability and are currently recruiting for a Head of Research & Insight, a Research & Insight Manager, and a Data & Insight Analyst, to join our existing evaluation and insight specialists and data analysts.
As Head of Research & Insight at the Youth Sport Trust you will ensure we are positioned as the most respected and trusted source of evidence on the power of sport, Physical Education and physical activity on children's wellbeing, achievement and life chances. We want to be joined by someone who has energy, passion and vision to lead our team and position us to establish a research consultancy arm; extend our research collaborations and partnerships; and further develop our ability to influence external policies and strategies, evidence our impact and inform our future innovations.
Highly experienced in managing research programmes; developing research and insight strategies; conducting and commissioning research and evaluations, with knowledge of primary and secondary research methodologies; you can use your skills to make a difference to the lives of young people across the UK. You should also relish the challenge of establishing and growing our wider research and development network in the UK and internationally, and expand the research and insight services we provide to our key stakeholders. We would particularly welcome applications from people with a health, wellbeing or sport-specific research background, or experience of social science more broadly.
