Job description

We have up to 3 trustee positions available. Energise Me is a Charity that exists to beat inactivity. It is part of a national network of 45 County Sports Partnerships across England promoting physical activity. We want to recruit a number of trustees who will support us with our mission and to help us to evolve in a time of challenge and change.

As a member of the Board, you will work with fellow trustees, the staff team, and our partners to implement our new strategy for the Charity.  You will foster a forward thinking and innovative approach and provide an appropriate level of challenge and support to the team. You will also  oversee the financial and legal aspects of the Charity.

Energise Me is looking for high performing individuals, experienced within physical activity and sport, health (primary care or commissioning) and finance, with strong networking and influencing skills and an ability to think creatively and strategically.

This is an exciting opportunity to influence the way physical activity and sport is developed across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

As a new Charity, the Board will meet 5 times in 2018-19, usually in Energise Me's offices in Winchester
