If this sounds like you, then the role of Website Manager with the Youth Sport Trust (YST) is the position you are looking for.
The YST is a children's charity passionate about building a brighter future for young people by harnessing the power of sport to enhance wellbeing, build leadership and raise achievement. As Website Manager we want you to oversee the day-to-day running and ongoing development of our website and our trading company e-commerce platform. We will look to you to ensure that structure and content meets organisational needs and engages website users.
In this high profile role you will lead the relationship with our web development agencies, taking responsibility for website usability, design, and functionality. You will simplify user journeys and ensure content meets brand guidelines. You will plan, upload and optimise content as well as troubleshoot any website issues. You will also work to ensure we meet the highest quality standards and project manage ongoing site developments to improve the user experience. This will involve taking responsibility for budgeting, testing, and on-time delivery. In addition, you will oversee search engine optimisation, gather website analytics, provide regular reporting and use insight to enhance site performance.
You must have experience of managing websites and successfully delivering website development projects. You will be used to tailoring and optimising online content for varying audiences and have expertise utilising content management systems. You will have knowledge of e-commerce platforms too, ideally using systems such as Magento and Yotpo.
Comfortable co-ordinating work with external web and design agencies you will be familiar with applying and policing house style and corporate identity. An effective project manager you will be skilled at using tools such as Google Analytics to track, evaluate and develop insights. Some working knowledge of Drupal and software packages such as Photoshop and In Design would be an advantage.
Your technical abilities will be complemented by strong interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills. You will be highly organised, numerate and with an eye for detail too.
