Founded in 2019 and became a charity in October 2023. BGDRUK aim is to encourage motivate and inspire more black women to run at grassroots level. 

Funding aims:

1. Increase participation of black women associated with Black Girls Do Run.

2. Train additional run leaders to support with delivery.

3. Ensure the charity is robust and sustainable by solidifying framework, investing in strengthening our brand etc.

4. Launch a library of running items to help with those cannot afford kit

5. All the above will help to secure our future as a charity and our legacy as a grass roots organisation creating meaningful change for an underrepresented group at grass roots level.
