Ellie Bradwell Takes on the TCS London Marathon 2025 for SportsAid

At Sporting Equals, we are incredibly proud of our very own Ellie Bradwell as she embarks on an exciting new challenge—running the TCS London Marathon 2025! Ellie is taking on this incredible feat to raise funds for SportsAid, a fellow Sport England System Partner that supports the next generation of British athletes.

Ellie has participated in numerous shorter-distance races, including Parkruns at Henlow, Milton Keynes, and Great Denham, as well as the Maulden Community 5K, Race for Life Stevenage 5K, and the London Vitality 10K. Now, she is stepping up to the ultimate challenge of 26.2 miles in one of the world’s most iconic marathons.

To prepare for this ambitious goal, Ellie is following a 12-week adidas beginner training plan and has just completed her first week of training. Her dedication and determination are truly inspiring, and we have no doubt that she will take on this challenge with the same enthusiasm and commitment she brings to everything she does.

SportsAid, the charity Ellie is fundraising for, plays a crucial role in supporting young athletes across the UK. With high-profile ambassadors like netball star Ama Agbeze MBE —who is also an ambassador for Sporting Equals and a member of our Sport Monitoring Advisory Panel —and a presence at our own Sporting Equals Awards through CEO Tim Lawler MBE, SportsAid continues to champion the future of British sport. By taking on the London Marathon, Ellie is not only pushing her personal boundaries but also raising vital funds to help young athletes achieve their dreams.

We encourage everyone to support Ellie on this incredible journey! You can follow her progress and donate to her fundraising efforts at Ellie’s Enthuse page. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a difference in supporting young athletes and their sporting aspirations.

We’ll be cheering Ellie on every step of the way—good luck, Ellie!
